Our Mission
To educate and encourage student-parents to succeed in life by developing the skills needed to reach their full potential as well as providing quality childcare and education for infants and toddlers while their parents attend school.
Get Involved with TPS
Volunteers are a vital part of Teen Parents Succeeding. Several of our volunteers have received community awards for their dedicated service. Do you like to rock babies, work with teens, or do yard work? Do you have administrative skills or a special talent or experience you could share with our teen parents? We are always in need of dedicated volunteers, and there are many ways you can serve.
Here are some suggestions:
- Helping our childcare providers by rocking, playing, and spending time with babies and toddlers
- Serve on our Board of Directors
- Facilities maintenance including yard work, cleaning, and repairs
- Administrative - helping with clerical tasks
- Organizing and assisting with fundraisers and special projects
- Being a mentor to a teen parent
- Conduct a class for our Parent Enrichment Group
- Provide a field trip opportunity
- Organize or assist with special events such as Christmas parties, graduation receptions, outings, pizza parties, etc.
- Donate supplies or money
