Our Mission
To educate and encourage student-parents to succeed in life by developing the skills needed to reach their full potential as well as providing quality childcare and education for infants and toddlers while their parents attend school.
Needs List
TPS is always in need of supplies and monetary donations to assist in the day-to-day operation of our program. We are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, so your gifts are tax deductible. See below for a list of needed supplies. We also accept gently used items throughout the year for our annual summer Garage Sale. Donations can be dropped off at our facility located at 604 S. Poplar Drive in Syracuse Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Basic Needs
- paper towels
- toilet paper
- wipes (sensitive, fragrance-free)
- disposable rubber gloves
- kleenex
- baby food (veggies, fruit, no "dinner" combos)
- formula
- cereal (rice, oatmeal, mixed)
- trash bags
- orajel, teething tablets
- diapers (esp. sizes 3-5)
- socks (6 mos+)
- fitted crib sheets
Special Facility Needs
- round 4' or 5' table (short, or w/adjustable legs)
- pergolah
- sandbox
- trees/landscaping (shade for backyard; child-friendly herb garden, etc.)
- track for bikes, cars
- wet vac
- paper roll holder (for large paper rolls in art area)
- fridge magnets, photo magnets
- child-size play table and chairs
- small area rug and door mat (in blues and greens)
- 9 CPSC Regulation Compliant Cribs (by 12/28/12)
- several large wicker baskets (for storing toys)
- digital photo printer
For the Children:
- hula hoops
- small paint rollers

- doll cradles/cribs
- small wagon
- record player with working turntable (no need for speakers)
- clean aquarium, gravel, etc. (no real fish!)

- old pairs of glasses
- adult-size shoes, clothing, (real-life) accessories: purses, wallets, watches, hats, dress scarves, etc.
